Those countries production is very small, and so are their reserves:
Equally, Chile and Argentina also have very strict rules on mining rights, where every ounce mined, belongs to the country no matter what, not the company who mined it. Chile used to be more open, but their current socialist Government cracked down on it.
This is also why the Lithium race is being won by Australia, despite having far smaller reserves.
Argentina may be changing its tune to a more open market, but that’s a very recent change, and they may revoke it.
