‘They don’t want to integrate’: Fifth night of youth rioting rocks Stockholm

#1

Youth gang riots in the Swedish capital Stockholm have entered fifth straight night. Hundreds of mostly immigrant teenagers tore through the suburbs, smashing windows and burning cars in the country’s worst outbreak of violence in years.
Snip:

“The problem is not from the Swedish government or from the Swedish people,” the editor in chief of Dispatch International said. “The last 20 years or so, we have seen so many immigrants coming to Sweden that really don’t like Sweden. They do not want to integrate, they do not want to live in [Swedish] society: Working, paying taxes and so on.”
*“The people come here now because they know that Sweden will give them money for nothing. They don’t have to work, they don’t have to pay taxes – they can just stay here and get a lot of money.

Snip:

**“They [Muslim youths] have always sought excuse to show that they are not agreeing with the basic values of Western society,” Annemans said, pointing to the recent cases of the Boston Marathon bombing in the US and yesterday’s beheading of a British soldier in the UK.

T](http://rt.com/news/stockholm-violence-outbreak-fires-671/)his artiucle ties in nicely with the other article I posed about how countries the world over are feeling animosity toward Muslims who come into a country and want to take it over or abuse that countries system.

Yesterday I was nosing around a bit trying to see what the “reason” has been for the rioting. The sources I read - the Beeb, Reuters - basically shrugged their shoulders and mentioned a few totally disproportionate things: an elderly man having been shot (By police? Whom he threatened with a knife? Don’t remember.); racist taunts from Swedes; a political party that wants to limit or shut down immigration gaining influence. Such things may be problems, may have medium- or long-term significance, but riots with violence, murders (?) and massive property destruction are disproportionate and likely to make things worse for the immigrants. And yes, if you read fairly far into the articles, you did start seeing a few rioters or riot supporters named … Middle Eastern names … and not Jewish Middle Eastern names (rather ironic, as antisemitism’s ugly head is on the rise in Scandinavia).

As Stockholm Riots Move Into Fifth Day, Press’s Aversion to the M-Word (‘Muslim’) to Describe Those Involved Is Nearly Unanimous

A Google News search on “Sweden riots” done tonight at 10 PM ET (not in quotes, sorted by date, with duplicates) returned 314 items. Adding the word “Muslim” to the search reduced the number of results to nine. Fewer than a handful are from establishment press outlets, and one of those only appeared in the search results because a commenter and not the story’s writer used the M-word.

That pretty much tells you all you need to know about the determined denial of reality in which the worldwide press is engaged in reporting riots in the suburbs of Stockholm, which have entered their fifth day. …

As long as I’ve been blogging (examples from 2005 are here and here), the worldwide press’s refusal to report the truth about who participates in Europe’s riots when they occur has consistently avoided reality, and worse, has tagged people who dare tell the truth about what’s happening as “far-right,” as the AP’s Rising did to the Swedeish Democrats in an unexcerpted paragraph. A December 2011 AP report called the Swedish Democrats “the radical right.”

When Sweden crumbles – and make no mistake, it is heading in that direction – we’ll see who was really “radical.”

I see I’m not the only one to note the oddity in how the MSM - US and Euro - are covering the Swedish riots. The MSM are never hesitant in blaming conservatives and Christians for violence when they think it plausible - usually prematurely, luridly, and falsely. So when I see vague and disproportionate reasons given in news reports - such as with these riots - I know something is being omitted, blaming some “protected” group is being avoided. And how stupid do the MSM think their readers, viewers and listeners are?! Just searching on the phrase “malmo muslim” using Bing or Google wil show that violence in Sweden by Muslims is a well known problem.

“Youth” is the code word used in a lot of Western European media to refer to African/Middle Eastern immigrants when they go feral, it was the same in the 2005 French riots, for example. If an article about civil unrest refers to “youth” you can be 99% sure who it’s talking about without looking for names.

Leftist multikulti Swedes are fighting on the side of the immigrants while nationalists and normal people are helping the police maintain order and beating up rioters.

“Multikulti”, I like that, volk! Can I use that in future relevant contexts?

Last evening I saw headlines mentioning that neighborhood people were making efforts to protect their properties from (further) damage. I remember the 1960s race riots in places like Detroit, Watts (LA) and Oak Park (Sacramento, CA) where people basically destroyed their own neighborhoods. Those areas are still hell-holes nearly 5 decades later. I hope these Swedes manage to preserve their neighborhoods at least somewhat.

The two sides I’ve gleaned are that, on one side, Sweden has been very open to immigrants, and has allowed those immigrants access to the full array of social programs. OTOH, unemployment is higher than the average population among these immigrants (and many who are employed work at “menial” jobs), they claim to have been subjected to racist taunts, and claim to be worried that an “anti-immigrant” political party is gaining influence.

Putting all that together, I think many of the immigrants were handicapped by language, lack of needed job skills and unwillingness to integrate into Swedish culture more than a slight degree; and the social programs may be proving to be a disincentive to work. For their part, Swedes may not be as racially and culturally tolerant as they thought they were when people of different ethnic groups and cultures were fewer and not living next door, and may be weary of the burden of social program benefits being soaked up by people unwilling to work, to better themselves, or to become part of Swedish culture. Several countries in Western Europe are facing similar problems - the Netherlands, Belgium, France and the UK, that I’m aware of - and not just in the past year or two.

This is really a decade or more in the making. Jews the world over have been complaining almost non-stop about the anti-Semitism there in Sweden. Jews have been murdered and temples have been defiled. My grandfather came to this country in 1903 from Malmo, Sweden, and he saw the rise in Socialism there that really worried him even back then. Now, the problem is so bad that the Socialist politicians are embedded like ticks in the government. And the vast majority of people there who are on the dole just keep voting these Socialists back into office. Then the poor working class has a back-breaking tax burden in order to fund not only their Swedish neighbors, but the great influx of Muslims who have taken over low-lying political offices and neighborhoods have even been changing signage so that the Swede language is completely absent. It’s similar to what’s happening in Michigan, Buffalo, NY, and parts of northern New Jersey. I can still remember the Muslims dancing in the streets in Patterson, NJ, when the World Trade Center collapsed. It’s disgusting.

Sure! I did not invent it, it’s a German political term.

See this is why you don’t let violent hooligans into your country.
