UCLA law professor: Affirmative action hurts more minority students than it helps
Mark McGreal - UCLA •October 14, 2017

Whether it was based on studies available at the time, his own observations, or simple common sense, Thomas Sowell made this point 20 or 30 years ago. It’s a very un-PC truth.

True. In addition, when an affirmative action student DOES manage to graduate with a degree, prospective employers will rightly ASSUME that they got their degree because of “preference” instead of their own abilities. Whether or not that assumption is correct, it STILL places minority, affirmative action, students at a distinct disadvantage in the workplace.

Yes, that is exactly what it is. I lived under for my entire career in corporate America.

Affirmative Action for women is also sexism. Getting pushed into a position too early in your career when you are not qualified to do it does you no favors in long run.
