White House considering retaliatory Libya strike

#1

Administration officials say the White House has put special operations strike forces on standby and moved drones into the skies above Africa, ready to hit militant targets from Libya to Mali, if U.S. investigators can find the al-Qaida-linked group responsible for the death of the U.S. ambassador in Libya.

But the officials say the administration also is weighing whether the short-term payoff of being able to claim retribution against al-Qaida is worth the risk that such strikes would be ineffective and rile governments in the region.

Details were provided by three current and one former administration official, as well as an analyst who was approached by the White House for help. All four spoke only on condition of anonymity.

The question comes to mind were the people at the consul used as sacrificial lambs in order to draw American troops in? Obama has wanted to start another war and has been vying to do so.

(I am sure I forgot a few)
Sheesh. How stupid can you get.

Bluster, 'bammy man does not have a target identified, the FBI went over and spent one day there, not only that the FBI has ZERO authority in Libya, in fact they focus on the US.

'bammy boy wants this low profile, he has enough problems with his Muslims brothers and brotherhood when he knocked off UBL, in fact it is my estimate that this was pay back for that action. He thought he could suck his way into the Muslims and all would be fine during his term, but that really pizzed them off to have one of their own knock off UBL.

Do look for anything to happen on this, its eyewash for the media and to appease the American people along with giving the LIBTARDS a talking point on how slam-bammy is going after the bad guys…

If he loses this debate…I wouldn’t be surprised by a Wag the Dog attack to bolster the polls.

Dunno, don’t see that in him, Klinton yes, but not sure about bammy on that, unless there is an unoccupied aspirin factory around…

Purely political. They are not considering it seriously in the slightest.
