Will Boehner’s speakership survive until Plan C?

Over the past three days, Boehner has focused all attention on “Plan B”: an effort to strengthen his hand in negotiations with President Obama by passing backup legislation that would extend the Bush tax cuts for all income under $1 million.

Tonight, Boehner lost that vote. In a dramatic turn of events on the House floor, he pulled the legislation. In a statement released moments ago, he said, “The House did not take up the tax measure today because it did not have sufficient support from our members to pass.” Boehner lost.

Will Boehner’s speakership survive until Plan C?

It is time Boehner is replaced with someone who stands for the values conservatives have and not just be a rubber stamp for Obama. Boehner with the old guard have been on board with allowing Obama free reign in implementing all that Obama wants.

Since Boehner attained his position he has always managed to fold conveniently after putting up a lack luster performance. Boehner along with his cohorts worked deligently with the democrats to undermine any efforts by those who held conservative views. The Tea Party was the enemy of both.

Come January 3rd it would be nice if Boehner is shown the door.
