What’s your point? Kids today don’t want a job, they want the free stuff.
It’s not that, I’m sure there are plenty of kids who want to work, but people won’t hire them for a variety of reasons: minimum wage laws, “health and safety” regulations/training, insurance mandates, liability insurance, etc.
This is exactly what’s causing the economy to not boom, government regulation. When you have more regulation it costs businesses more money to run, when it costs businesses more money to run it leads to employers not hiring workers because the costs per worker are too high.
I was working in a brokerage firm and our biggest cost driver was compliance that at a certain point we stopped hiring completely because of the costs involved with adding employees and servicing new clients.
